Amazing, Astounding, Awesomeness!

     I am officially an auntie! My little nephew Connor was born on February 28, at 9:35pm. He is 7lb 13oz of extreme adorableness. He already has the whole family smitten over him, and I already consider him one of the most photographed babies of all time ;)
     It was a really incredible day, not only because Connor was born and his parents did such a great job (especially his mama, having her water break at 4 am and not getting the little guy out until 17 hours later was not easy!), but because I had the AMAZINGLY AWESOME privilege of being in the delivery room to photograph the event!!!! I started taking photos at around 6:30am when I got to the hospital, and didn't stop until we left around midnight, chronicling every moment from the waiting room, to the contractions, to the delivery. It was one of the coolest things I've ever gotten to witness and be a part of, and I'm so grateful to Derek and Jamie for letting me document the experience.
    Now tomorrow is little Connor's first official photo shoot (not counting his photos when he was just a few seconds old haha) and I am so excited! So I will be posting his newborn photos very soon, I'm sure. :) Can't wait to start shooting!
